Bio
Hi, my name is Michelle and I\'m an Indigenous yoga teacher originally from Canada, now living in Mexico. I took my first ever yoga class in 2009, and since 2015 I\'ve been guiding students on their yoga journey. With over 1,500 hours of training, more than 7000 teaching hours, and experience leading over 35 yoga teacher trainings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and a heart-centered approach to my teaching.
I\'m certified and teach many styles of yoga, including hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative and yoga Nidra. My teaching style is a blend of dynamic asana practices with yogic philosophy, encouraging students to cultivate balance, strength, and inner stillness. I do my best to integrate traditional yogic concepts with modern-day approaches, making the practice accessible and relevant to today’s practitioners.
Beyond the physical practice, I see yoga as a pathway to self-discovery and healing. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive space where students of all backgrounds feel seen, empowered, and encouraged to explore their unique journey. Whether leading teacher trainings, retreats, or virtual classes, I\'m committed to making yoga accessible, transformative, and deeply personal.
When I\'m not on the mat, you can find me crafting margaritas, soaking up the sun, and befriending every cat I meet.
