Rooted in Stillness

A Jungle-Inspired Yoga Nidra

Session Link

This gentle Yoga Nidra invites you into complete stillness, using guided imagery of the Costa Rican jungle to cultivate a sense of grounding and connection. As you rest comfortably, you’ll be led through a body scan and visualization that evokes the feeling of being deeply rooted in the earth, supported and steady.

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that allows the body to fully relax while the mind remains softly aware. It can help reduce stress, restore energy, and support emotional balance, making it an ideal complement to a day of wellness and self-care. This practice offers a quiet space to reset, reconnect, and return to yourself with a sense of calm presence.

Bio: Michelle Lehegarate is a Canadian-born yoga teacher and founder of Two Rivers Yoga. Before stepping into the world of yoga, she worked in retail banking in corporate Canada, where she built a career helping clients with finances and investments. Today, Michelle teaches yoga internationally and specializes in creating accessible, feel-good practices that help people step away from their busy days and reconnect to their bodies and breath. Joining live from Costa Rica, she brings a grounded, lighthearted approach to movement, offering space to reset, recharge, and return with more clarity and ease.
